1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Trashnappers' website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Trashnappers provides residential curbside trash collection services in East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, including Sullivan, Hawkins, and Greene counties in Tennessee, and Weber City and Gate City areas in Virginia.

Our services include:

  • Weekly residential curbside trash pickup
  • 3-month and annual service packages
  • Trash can delivery and pickup

3. Service Area and Limitations

Our services are limited to the specified service areas. We reserve the right to modify our service areas at any time. Customers outside our service area may be placed on a waitlist.

Our service is curbside pickup only. Trash cans must be placed at the curb or designated pickup location and must be accessible to our collection crew. The trash can lid must be able to close fully. Items that do not fit inside the provided trash can with the lid closed may not be collected.

4. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

Trashnappers may send you text messages (SMS/MMS) related to your trash collection service. By providing your phone number to Trashnappers, whether through our website, service request form, or by any other means, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Trashnappers.

Types of messages you may receive include:

  • Service updates and notifications
  • Appointment reminders and schedule changes
  • Quotes and estimates
  • Invoices and billing notifications
  • Other communications related to your service

Message frequency varies.Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's standard messaging rates may apply.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from Trashnappers. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further text messages will be sent.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in US Dollars and subject to change with notice
  • A one-time delivery fee applies per trash can
  • Payment is due at the beginning of each service period
  • We accept cash, check, and credit card payments (credit cards processed through Jobber Payments powered by Stripe)
  • Service packages auto-renew at the end of each service period at the then-current regular price unless cancelled prior to the renewal date

6. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Place trash cans at the curb or designated curbside pickup location on collection day
  • Ensure trash is properly bagged and contained within the provided can with the lid fully closed
  • Not place hazardous materials, liquids, or prohibited items in trash cans
  • Keep the area around trash cans accessible for collection
  • Notify us of any changes to your service address or contact information

7. Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from regular trash collection:

  • Hazardous waste and chemicals
  • Medical waste
  • Electronics and batteries
  • Construction debris
  • Tires
  • Appliances
  • Hot ashes or coals

8. Service Interruptions

We strive to provide consistent weekly service. However, service may be delayed or interrupted due to weather conditions, holidays, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of any planned service changes.

9. Cancellation Policy

  • There are no long-term contracts; you may cancel service at any time
  • Cancellation requires 30 days written notice via email or phone
  • Refunds for unused service will be prorated based on remaining service period
  • Trash cans must be returned in good condition upon cancellation

10. Limitation of Liability

Trashnappers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services during the current service period.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
